Friday, November 21, 2014: Moser Baer India has aimed to save over 50 MW of energy by introducing LED products within next 2 years. Going beyond with this decision, the company has also entered into a strategic partnership with e-commerce site, Snapdeal.com, to market its LED products across the country and also to introduce its 9W LED bulb for the first time in the country.
The partnership among the two will not only promote LED lighting products but will also make efforts by running campaigns for initial six months to make consumers aware about the benefits of LED lighting. While in the campaign, the company has also planned to introduce its entire product range including bulb, tube light, down light, high bay light, panel light, street light with the best possible price tag.
Along with the new 9W LED bulbs, LED street lights will have a major impact over the market. The 90W LED light along with its capability of saving 700 units (approx) pear year serves the durability of 50,000 hours.
