Tata Solar grabs a deal of 10 MW plant in India

Friday, September 12, 2014: Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd., won a deal to provide panels for a 10-megawatt project in India.

According to an e-mailed statement from Tata Solar, it will supply 45,000 modules to the north-western plant owned by Palimarwar Solar Project Pvt., a part of Kolkata-based LNB Group. The contractor building the farm is Germany based, IBC Solar AG.

Palimarwar Solar Project Pvt., got the licence to build the facility in February in government auction, it will require some projects to be built using domestic equipments. The value of the deal was not mentioned in the statement.
