Tuesday, July 01, 2010: M/s Bosch Automotive Electronics organized a vendor workshop on April 10, 2014 at Bengaluru. The global leadership of Bosch Automotive Electronics was represented by Mr. Andreas Fischer, EVP Bosch. Dr. Ajay Kumar, Joint Secretary, DeitY made a presentation about the various opportunities available for Bosch and its vendors under the various policy initiatives for promotion of Electronics System Design and Manufacturing. M/s Bosch indicated their interest to increase local content in their automotive electronic products and encouraged the vendors to increase their capacity to meet their requirements of the future.
Several vendors of M/s Bosch including Kramski India, Ascent Circuits and Nash among others participated and also expressed their interest in various policy initiatives being implemented by the Department of Electronics and IT (DeitY).
