In March 2014, Fluke Corporation introduced a new range of earth ground testers, Fluke 1623-2 and Fluke 1625-2, with advanced features and accessories. The new accessories save up to 50 per cent of the time spent in setting-up, speed up the testing process and help solve power quality problems faster. These testers identify poorly grounded systems, and hence increase uptime and improve safety for users. The new earth ground testers have an in-built memory for 1500 records, a USB port for data download, a colour coded wire spool set and an improved LCD display. These new testers are IP56 compliant and can drive high short circuit currents of up to 50/250mA and perform all types of earth ground measurements: 3-P fall-of-potential, 4-pole soil resistivity, selective testing and stateless testing.
