Saturday, April 05, 2014: Solar energy project builds may have been failing to meet targets under the governmental implementation, but the energy source is seriously considered by private developers. The Ujaas Energy has announced that the company successfully commissioned a total of 105.18 MWp of solar power projects. All the projects were completed by 31 March, 2014.
According to a FeedTheGrid report, The company shares are trading at around Rs 13.70, which is up by Rs 0.53 or 4 pre cent at the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). The figures circle around the sensex closing earlier this week.
Ujaas Energy Limited is the first company in India to to generate and sell Solar REC, from its solar power plant of 2 MW commissioned in March 2012 at Rajgarh (MP).
In three decades since it was first established it owns electronics units like MandB Switchgears, which manufactures transformers.
