Colour scanners and printers

kyoceraIn December 2013, Kyocera introduced a new range of colour scanners and printers for the Indian market. These four new A3 multi function printers and scanners—TASKalfa 1800, TASKalfa 2200, TASKalfa 1801 and TASKalfa 2201 have been launched under the Kizuna brand. The new machines are simple to install and work with, and built with superior print and scan elements, ensuring flawless digitisation of colour documents. Each model is equipped with the print box feature, a unique application to ensure document security and confidentiality. The series has a drum life of 150,000 pages (which, according to the company, is three times more than any equivalent product from other firms), and a mainframe/machine life of 900,000-10,50,000 prints. It consumes only 385 W of electricity per hour.

Vision printer

kyoritsuIn December 2013, Kyoritsu Electric India Pvt Ltd launched a low cost vision printer, which caters to the longest LED tube light PCBs of 1300 mm. It is supposedly the first of its kind, large sized vision printer. It offers several features such as qualified high speed and precise screen printing, high accuracy and repeatability, convenient and easy operation, as well as a 2D inspection system for printing quality stability. This large sized printer was specially designed for the manufacture of LED lights. The product offers two methods for LED manufacturing, since LED light PCBs are longer than 1000 mm.

SFX gang test module kit

geopelIn November 2013, GOEPEL Electronics introduced an SFX gang test module kit, a new solution for parallel test and programming of up to 32 different assemblies with an integrated mass interconnect interface. The kit, consisting of three basic modules, is an easy-to-integrate complete solution for parallel applications based on Embedded System Access (ESA) technologies providing throughput increase by factors of 16 or 32. As only one system controller is required, efficiency increases and investment costs are reduced. The module kit, particularly developed for gang applications, can be flexibly adjusted to various environments and different test and programming applications such as flash programming, MCU programming or dynamic tests per processor emulation.
