Wednesday, February 05, 2014: The Indian government has brought out a statement from its Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) for announcing another round of its solar entrepreneurship program. The program has been a success a number of times as per the ministry leading director general, Arun Kumar. The program is now going to run on a monthly basis.
As stated on pv-tech.org, the three-day Entrepreneurship Development Program on solar energy began on the 31 January at the National Institute for Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development (NIESBUD) that is run by MSME. The program is the fourth of its kind along with the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). Entrepreneurs from Delhi, Utter Pradesh, Haryana, Maharashtra, Punjab, Bihar participated in the course.
The statement reveals that the program covers financial, technical, commercial and regulatory aspects of solar energy entrepreneurship. Till date NIESBUD has trained 45 individuals in solar entrepreneurship. The program is in conjunction with India’s National Solar Mission (JNNSM) with its aim at supporting activities for human resource development and training.
