Monday, December 09, 2013: Trojan Battery Company, which is a US-based deep-cycle battery manufacturer firm is making its entry in the Indian market and has even designated a master distributor for its products. The distributor will be marketing throughout the country.
Coming to the portfolio of the company, it offers power for a wide variety of golf cars, electric vehicles, aerial work platform, transportation, floor scrubber, renewable energy, recreational and auxiliary power applications. The solutions are designed for applications such as golf cars, off-grid solar energy, rural telecom and boats.
Manikandan Dunamis Pvt Ltd will be the master distributor of Trojan’s deep-cycle batteries throughout India. The firm will offer Trojan products to support the market with focus on electric vehicles, inverter, telecom, floor machines, golf and utility vehicles, marine/recreational vehicle, and various renewable energy applications in India.
Jeff Elder, president and CEO at Trojan Battery Co., told Business Standard, “Trojan has taken a comprehensive look at the Indian subcontinent and has strategically targeted geographic regions and premium market segments that have a demonstrated need for Trojan’s deep-cycle battery solutions.”
The products will be distributed in Southern States of Kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Goa and Pondicherry.
