Kwality Photonics Pvt Ltd has launched 13 watt 1400 lumens LEDs-single LED, which can be used as substitute for dual CFL down lights (2×11 watt) or 100 watt incandescent bulbs.
Features and USP: This KLHP 1813 watt LED will replace 2×18 watt CFLs in popular office down lighters and produces some lux levels at the work table level. PolyWa 13 is a plug and play solution for down lights as it does not require interconnection of several LEDs. Being an integrated module on the electrically insulated thermal substate, it eliminates MPCB cost, interconnecting labour costs and costs of damaged LED in soldering, leading to reduction in cost of manufacturing by as much as Rs 150 in basic module cost. Other significant advantages are multichip reliability and convenient drive voltage. It just needs a 700mA LED driver of 19V or higher capacity. PolyWa 13 has very low thermal resistance of 2 degree celsius per watt. The warm white KLHP1813WW produces 900 lumen @3000K with over 90 CRI.
