PWM charge controller
In July 2013, Systellar Innovations launched the CC-1224-20 PWM charge controller which offers unique features and high performance at really affordable prices. The product is capable of auto-selecting 12V/24V battery voltage and can deliver up to 20 Amperes of charging current. The unique features in this product include selecting between flat cell and tubular batteries, a three-stage battery charging algorithm for proper charging, warning LED lights indicating wrong polarity connections and the battery charging status.

Connectors for photovoltaic industry
In April 2013, Phoenix Contact launched Sunclix connectors for the photovoltaic systems. The DC plug-in connectors can be assembled in the field within approximately 10 to 15 seconds without special tools. The technology also ensures long-term system availability even under extreme atmospheric influences. The most highlighting feature of the product is that this is not physically compatible to any other connector in the market. This means the connections in the field will be saved from all the crucial and harmful parameters, which lead to burning and high energy losses. Sunclix solutions cover up to 1500 Volts and 65 Amps connection requirement for wire size up to 16 sq mm. When plugged in, the connectors provide protection class IP68 (24h/2m)

LED bulbs
In May 2013, GSR Infocom Pvt Ltd launched a range of LED bulbs ranging from 3 W to 9 W, all with isolated constant current drivers.
Their USP is the unique design and high grade material of the bulb housing. Unlike the aluminium housings available in the open market, this product doesn’t get heated from outside even after prolonged use of the bulb. There are various colour options for the bulbs.

Scalable placement platform
In May 2013, Fuji launched its scalable placement platform, the NXT III, which is perfect for high-mix and high-volume productions. Available in two module types—M3 (325 mm width, with 20 feeder slots) or M6 (650 mm width, with 45 feeder slots), the machine is scalable with regard to feeder slots and throughput. NXT III enables exchange of placing heads in a few minutes without the need of tools. The feeders can be exchanged during production without stopping the machine.

32-bit MCU series
In July 2013, Nuvoton Technology Corporation launched a new member of the NuMicro microcontroller family, the M058S series, which is built on the success of the popular Mini51 series. IP-based surveillance solution
In May 2013, Matrix Comsec introduced an IP based surveillance solution—SATATYA NVR400.
It allows scalability from 4 to 16 video channels and recording flexibility from full HD to D1 for crystal clear images. It allows sequencing of cameras in different layout formats and facilitates simultaneous live view and playback on a single window to simplify monitoring needs. This NVR along with recording and monitoring identifies irregularities and sends prompt notifications with event details in the form of SMS and email to prevent any major losses. To safeguard the data, it allows performing scheduled or manual backup on a network as well as on USB. Reflow oven
In April 2013, Sumitron Exports Pvt Ltd introduced two models of reflow ovens from Koki Singapore Pte Ltd. These are designed with a new hot air circulation mechanism. A highly heat efficient temperature profile can be set with a convection heating mechanism design for operation at a reduced wind speed.
In addition to reducing electricity consumption by 20 per cent, the energy-saving design shortens the time required to change plans and start the machine. All of the main operations can be centrally controlled on the PC screen (from the setting of soldering conditions to the monitoring of operations).
