Top 100 Global Innovator
Monday, November 11, 2013: STMicroelectronics, a global semiconductor leader serving customers across the spectrum of electronics applications, was named a Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovator for the second year in a row, recognizing ST’spositionamong the world’s most innovative companies. The programrecognizesand rewards organizations that are leading the innovation charge as measured by a series of proprietary patent-related metrics.
Based on four principle criteria, the Thomson Reuters Top 100 Global Innovator selection process evaluates overall patent volume, patent grant success rate, global reach of the portfolio, and patent influence as evidenced by citations.
