Portable pneumatic pressure calibrator
In March 2013, Fluke Calibration launched the 3130 portable pneumatic pressure calibrator, a complete system for pressure sensor and pressure gauge calibration, on the bench or in the field.
The 3130 digital pressure calibrator contains everything needed to generate, control and measure pressure, as well as read the output of the device under test. It includes an on-board pressure sensor with a full scale of 2 MPa (300 psi, 20 bar) and an accuracy of 0.025 per cent in reading plus 0.01 per cent FS. The portable pressure calibrator features an internal, motorised pump providing an easy, efficient alternative to time consuming, tiring hand pumps. For applications that involve filling a large volume with pressure, the 3130 allows for connection to an external gas supply, such as a compressed plant air or gas cylinder, to supply pressure up to 300 psi. The pressure can be fine-tuned using the variable volume.

Digital multimeters
In July 2013, Agilent Technologies Inc. introduced the Truevolt series, 34461A digital multimeters. These DMMs offer several advantages over previous models. They help engineers see their measurement data in new ways, get actionable information faster, and document their results more easily. Exclusive Truevolt technology reduces extraneous factors such as noise, injected current and input bias current for increased measurement confidence.
The new 34461A offers expanded current ranges from 100 µA to 10 A. Both the 34460A and 34461A have a temperature measurement function (RTD/PT100, thermistor) and expanded diode measurement capability to allow engineers to measure a larger full-scale voltage (5 V) so they can test more diode types, such as LEDs.
