LEADING PCB PLAYERS

The printed circuit board (PCB) industry in India has come of age in the last decade. Earlier, there were but a few multilayer PCB manufacturers in India but the scenario has changed now, with a number of players who are not only making quality PCBs but are also making them in large quantities. The Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, expects the Indian PCB industry to register a 30 per cent growth per year for the next five years. The main demand drivers for PCBs are consumer and industrial electronics and computers and all of them are growing at a rate of 6-7 per cent. Indian manufacturers are providing PCBs in India at more reasonable rates than those of the Chinese products. Many companies have expanded their production capacities four-five times over.

In an endeavour to acknowledge and applaud the strength of this sector, we conducted an exercise to list the major Indian players of this industry. We contacted various PCB manufacturers, PCB associations and customers to ascertain which players are making a mark in this industry and came up with a list of leading PCB players. The prominent companies in the PCB manufacturing domain given below have been listed in alphabetical order and have not been ranked on the basis of revenue.
