Senior DeitY director S K Marwaha and members of ELCINA are leading a delegation to Taiwan from April 8-12 to invite the globally leading industries to set shop in India. “The new investments can acquire lion’s share in exponentially poised government purchases in tablets, IT, telecom, solar and LED lighting, under the Preferrential Market Access policy,” says Vijay Kumar Gupta, managing director, Kwality Photonics P Ltd, a member of this delegation. This is a follow up of earlier efforts by joint secretary and senior DeitY officials, which had generated a lot of response.
“The right policy environment ushered in by M-SIPS and PMA, if implemented in earnestness, will present a golden opportunity, one that should not be missed, for revival of electronic industry in India,” says Vijay Gupta.
