Foxconn unveils new fan-less NanoPC AT-5250

Foxconn, world’s leading manufacturer of computer components and systems, today announced the launch of the new fanless NanoPC AT-5250. Foxconn has reworked on the design of the entire NanoPC model, to make the better usage of the new cooling system. AT-5250 makes no noise while running due to its advanced design, the Nano-PC has been build without a fan. The choice of memory and hard drive is still left to the user with free slots.

The latest AT-5250 is powered with Intel GMA 3650 HD boosts graphics and CPU processing capabilities while maintaining energy efficiency to create a palm-sized home theater PC capable of high-definition video playback and lightning-fast system responsiveness. AT-5250 consumes around 15W in idle conditions and 24W under load, which is equivalent of the rate of power consumed which falls somewhere between that of an Ultrabook and a regular laptop, and low enough to be passively cooled. With 190 X 135 X 38mm form factor, the AT-5250 is priced which is expected to be similar to that of a mini-ATX budget barebones but with a pair of USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit LAN, a multilingual card reader and built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi.

HDMI 1.4

HDMI can be used to watch TV on a separate screen. HDMI and S/PDIF output sports ensure a full HD 1080p home entertainment experience; while the built-in 802.11n WLAN and Ethernet LAN port keeps connected to the home network. With HDMI 1.4, NanoPC supports 3D function which makes you enjoy your sensational experience never before.

USB3.0

With two-front USB 3.0 and four USB 2.0, AT-5250 will maximize the performance with different devices at the same time without any additional consumption. Two-front USB 3.0 delivers data transfer rates up to 10X faster than USD 2.0 with optimized power efficiency.

Slim Figure—Perfect fit for anywhere

The Fanless barebone system, NanoPC is around 40 times smaller than a typical Micro-ATX PC. It is designed to fit to the back of a monitor or flat screen television by using the VESA mounting bracket included. At the size of a book brings unlimited possibilities to your life and business activities. The slim figure of NanoPC not only plays a part of elegant artwork in the living room but also works as a media center which digitalized the life even more.

Various applications

NanoPC can fully meet the high definition multi-media tasks common in education such as dormitory PC, and education PC at the education organizations. Additionally, the menu-style configuration of NanoPC is easily adjusted to match the requirements in office building, bank, sales reception and shopping mall; the mini appearance can keep the office neat and clean, enhancing corporate image. High-tech services to make the customers feel honored, upgrading the service value. The wide application would also be used at the services of hotel and catering.

The elegant design occupies less space, meeting the high-end needs of sales centers and real sales presentation who are seeking for a powerful tower PC replacement, home theater or energy-efficient PC. NanoPC barebone fits all the severe weather and environment. The menu-style configuration of NanoPC is easily adjusted to match your requirements in office building, bank, sales reception and shopping mall. It could be utilized widely on electronic billboards, streaming media, mobile ads and broad advertising applications. In addition, NanoPC could also be applied on terminal system such as ATM system, monitoring system and sales system.
