Student Tribe, an online student community with a membership of 6.5 lakh students across eight cities, has collaborated with Marut Drones to provide students with exposure to opportunities in drones and drone technology. This partnership highlights the increasing importance of drones in modern technology and aims to empower youths with the tools and knowledge to contribute to this demanding field.
Marut Drones, founded in 2019 and based in Hyderabad, India, specializes in drone-based precision agriculture management solutions. The company offers products such as the AG365 agriculture drones, helicopters, seed copters, and Marut Zap. As of March 31, 2024, Marut Drones reported annual revenue of approximately Rs 24.3 crore (around $2.93 million).
Marut Drones, an RPTO approved by DGCA, will conduct a five-day Drone Pilot Training (RPC) workshop. The program includes flight simulator training, practical drone flying sessions, hands-on field experience, solo field flying assessments, and DGCA certification upon successful completion. Moreover, the duo plans to host an annual Drone Fest, providing students with an opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technology and demonstrate their talents.
