ALVA picks Google Cloud to enhance its AI-driven innovation in R&D, customer service, sales productivity, and localised marketing content.
ALVA, a pioneering brand in the electrification of two-wheelers, announced a pivotal partnership with Google Cloud to enhance customer experiences and stimulate demand for its electric vehicles. ALVA has selected Google Cloud as its principal cloud services provider, capitalizing on its AI-optimized infrastructure, advanced data cloud, and AI technologies. This collaboration will foster innovation in four critical areas: refining research and development, enriching customer service with personalized insights, boosting sales staff productivity, and enhancing marketing strategies with locally tailored content.
Purbaja Pantja, CEO of ALVA, highlighted the transformative impact of electrification on mobility and set an ambitious target: achieving a market share of one in every three electric two-wheelers in Indonesia within three to five years. He emphasised that Google Cloud’s technologies are instrumental in harnessing data-driven insights that shape research and customer interactions, ultimately speeding up the adoption of electric vehicles.
ALVA leverages Google Cloud’s BigQuery to amalgamate structured and unstructured data from various internal systems and Google services, creating a unified data ecosystem that spans the entire organisation. This approach not only streamlines data integration but also simplifies access and analysis, reducing the development time for operational code significantly.
By integrating its data platforms with Google Cloud’s Vertex AI, ALVA is positioned to extract and utilize deep insights that enhance customer experiences. Insights gathered from BigQuery have already informed R&D efforts, particularly in addressing electric vehicle charging anxiety among riders. Surveys and data analysis revealed that while customers are concerned about charging station availability, their daily travel rarely exceeds the typical range of ALVA’s electric two-wheelers.
Further innovations include the integration of Google Maps directly into vehicle dashboards, enhancing navigation and safety. The My ALVA App incorporates several Google Cloud technologies like Firestore and Firebase, boosting app security and development efficiency.
ALVA also explores new customer service enhancements through an AI-driven system that provides agents with detailed customer profiles and behavioural insights, enabling more personalised and effective service interactions. This system allows agents to anticipate and prioritize customer needs, transforming routine inquiries into opportunities for meaningful engagement and support.
