Seeking to enhance analogue signal performance with machine learning while ensuring reliability across diverse industries, semiconductor company Vervesemi has unveiled technology to address these.
Vervesemi, a semiconductor firm based in Greater Noida, has announced its advancement in analogue signal chains. With this machine learning technology, the company aims to transform traditional systems and offer enhanced performance across the consumer, automotive, space, and defence sectors.
According to the company, this technology improves system performance in terms of speed, power, and resolution, overcoming the traditional trade-offs where optimising one aspect often compromises the others.
It further ensures high accuracy, reliability, and smooth operation, unaffected by ageing degradation. The system continuously learns and adapts, maintaining consistency and precision even under challenging conditions and over time.
However, no financial information regarding this upgradation was disclosed.
Vervesemi has recently upgraded silicon technology to boost converter performance from 6 to 14 bits at 1 Gsps. This was accomplished through an advanced unsupervised learning system to correct errors throughout the signal conversion process. It optimises data converters, improving resolution in telecommunications, medical imaging, and motor control industries.
The company has stated that this technology is expected to lead future progress in analogue signal processing, positioning it as a leader in semiconductor innovation.
Speaking on this achievement, Vervesemi Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Pratap Narayan Singh said, “Our mission has always been to tackle the most challenging problems in signal processing with innovative solutions. The new machine learning systems we have developed surpass traditional methods by overcoming fundamental limitations.”
The analogue signal chain market, crucial to telecommunications, automotive, industrial, healthcare, consumer electronics, and defence sectors, is currently valued at $110 billion and projected to exceed $240 billion by 2030.
Founded in 2017, Vervesemi specialises in high-performance analogue IPs and ASICs for diverse markets. Recognised by the Government of India, the company aims to excel in efficiency and holds multiple patents in signal chain applications.
