The facility can produce up to 36,000 vehicles each year. It will function as Euler Motors’ main manufacturing centre, supporting the growing need for its 3W HiLoad EV nationwide. The company aims to increase its presence from 26 to 40 cities by FY25.
Euler Motors, a prominent manufacturer of electric commercial vehicles, unveiled its commercial EV manufacturing and R&D facility in Palwal, Haryana, on Tuesday. This facility, spanning 500,000 square feet, has an annual production capacity of 36,000 vehicles. Constructed with an investment of 100 crore rupees, the factory is set to be Euler Motors’ main manufacturing hub, addressing the increasing demand for its 3W HiLoad EV across India as the company plans to grow its reach from 26 to 40 cities by FY25.
The plant features an automated assembly line connected through a proprietary Manufacturing Execution System (MES) that enhances production efficiency by monitoring the vehicle lifecycle from production to delivery. It also meets the highest standards of commercial vehicle testing, including dyno-testing, compliant shower testing, and a full-length testing track. The facility includes dedicated testing and validation teams, advanced R&D labs, and partnerships with engineering experts, promoting ongoing innovation.
Saurav Kumar, the founder and CEO of Euler Motors, expressed that the ongoing transformation in India’s mobility segment depends heavily on strong local production and localized innovation. He highlighted that this facility not only represents the government’s Make in India initiative but also brings in technological advancements and pioneering features to the commercial EV manufacturing sector.
He further noted that Palwal, with its robust supplier network, was the natural choice for this facility. As the company aims for a 15% growth in FY25 and expands into new markets, this state-of-the-art facility will enable Euler Motors to meet increasing customer demands and adapt to changes in processes and products with agility and flexibility, reinforcing its position as a trusted leader in the Indian commercial EV sector.
Gaurav Kumar, Head of Supply Chain and Manufacturing at Euler Motors, remarked that the new factory represents a significant progression in the production of commercial 3-wheeler EVs. By incorporating advanced technology and quality control standards that align with global norms, they are establishing new standards for efficient and dependable vehicle production. He noted that the facility will enhance its production capabilities and reinforce its dedication to delivering robust, locally produced vehicles that adapt to the evolving demands of its customers and the broader industry.
The facility will also generate job opportunities and foster value creation in the sector. Currently, it employs over 500 people, including 20% women, and hosts the ‘Kamar-Taj’ learning and development centre to bridge the skill gap in EV manufacturing.
Anal Vijay Singh, Plant Head at Euler Motors, expressed pride in leading the facility, noting its top-tier automation and commitment to sustainable practices. He emphasized that the combination of a skilled workforce and advanced technology positions Euler Motors to deliver high-quality electric vehicles throughout India, significantly contributing to the country’s clean mobility future.
