Lohia has announced the introduction of five electric three-wheeler (E3W) models, enhancing its portfolio with a range of vehicles designed for both passenger and cargo transportation. The new lineup features the Humsafar L5 Passenger and Cargo models, along with the Narain iCE L3, Narain DX, Narain C+, and Narain Base SS, each boasting state-of-the-art features such as keyless entry, LED lighting, and a unique butterfly design. The Narain+ stands out with its Flexi model that offers adaptable configurations for various uses, while all models are powered by a robust 60V battery system, providing exceptional performance and an extended range.
Ayush Lohia, CEO of Lohia, expressed that the introduction of these five new vehicles marks a significant achievement in their ongoing effort to provide clean, efficient, and reliable transportation solutions. He emphasized the company’s commitment to setting new benchmarks in safety and quality. With this varied lineup of models, Lohia aims to sell 10,000 units this year, furthering the transition to electric mobility in India.
The Humsafar L5 Passenger model is ideal for urban commuting, with a top speed of 48 km/hr, battery options of 130/135/135 AH, and a travel range of 100 – 120 km. It features a digital instrument cluster, a sturdy metal body, and 4.5 R10 PR tyres.
The L5 Cargo is tailored for efficient cargo delivery, offering a top speed of 48 km/hr, battery capacities ranging from 4 x 1.8 to 11.8 kWh, and a range of 140-160 km. It includes features such as a closed cabin with doors, a digital instrument cluster, and a spacious 140 / 170 cu ft cargo box.
The Narain iCE L3 Passenger model is designed for smooth and efficient travel, with a top speed of under 25 km/hr, battery options including Lead Acid and Lithium 5kWh, and a range of 100 – 120 km. It comes equipped with alloy wheels, a digital instrument cluster, and a 1400 W motor.
The Narain DX & C+ models build upon the iCE specifications, adding enhanced features like LED lights, a remote key, and a reinforced double chassis for increased durability and security.
The Comfort F2F+ model offers similar performance, equipped with advanced battery options, alloy wheels with a Long Life Tubular Design, and a 1400 W motor for reliable urban transport.
The Narain+ model introduces versatility with its Flexi variant, complementing the robust features seen in the Narain DX.
Lastly, the Utility Vehicle L5 stands out with a top speed of 49.5 km/hr, a 10 kWh battery providing a range of 90 – 100 km, and is designed with a closed cabin, digital instruments, and a large cargo space measuring 1720 x 1485 x 1450 mm.
Produced in their state-of-the-art facility in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, which is managed via CLOUD-ERP, Lohia maintains an impressive production capacity of over 100,000 units annually.
