On Tuesday, Chinese chip design company UNISOC announced its collaboration with leading original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to launch its latest chipset, the UNISOC T760, in India. This new chipset, designed to make 5G smartphones accessible to a wider customer base, brings significant benefits to the Indian market. By partnering with prominent OEMs in India, the company aims to accelerate the adoption of this new technology across various consumer devices, offering significant energy savings, particularly in 5G usage scenarios.
The UNISOC T760 chipset is not just another chipset. It is designed to deliver exceptional performance, scoring over 510,000 points on Antutu V10 benchmarks. It excels in high-definition gaming, heavy multitasking, quality photography, and video recording, offering users a comprehensive range of brilliant experiences across all application categories.
The UNISOC T760 chipset is constructed on advanced 6nm EUV process technology, showcasing the company’s expertise in the field. This chipset supports Hard Decode/4K@30fps encoding and decoding, is compatible with FHD+ resolution displays, and offers 120Hz refresh rates, significantly enhancing gaming experiences and ensuring immersive entertainment.
UNISOC’s commitment to sustainability is evident in the energy efficiency of the T760 chipset. The other technologies and architecture integrated into this chipset include AI intelligent adjustment technology and multi-mode integrated architecture, which lower the power consumption by up to 37 per cent in 5G data use and by 18 per cent in standby scenarios.
