The company claims that the Zen Micro Pod’s innovative design, which features a 150kg payload capacity, a range of over 120 kilometres per charge, and a customized box, allows it to navigate traffic effortlessly and ensure timely deliveries.
ZEVO, a tech-enabled EV mobility platform, has entered into a partnership with Zen Mobility, an emerging Indian electric vehicle OEM, to deliver 3,000 units of the Zen Micro Pod within a year, significantly boosting delivery operations.
The Zen Micro Pod boasts an innovative design with a 150kg payload capacity, a range of over 120 kilometers per charge, and a customized box, which allows it to easily navigate traffic and ensure timely deliveries. Additionally, Zen Mobility’s upcoming Zen Maxi Pod, a 4-wheeler Light Electric Vehicle (LEV) designed for mid to large-size deliveries, will further enhance ZEVO’s delivery capabilities.
ZEVO plans to deploy these advanced vehicles nationwide, beginning with Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). This initial phase will enable rigorous testing and refinement to meet local challenges. Upon successful implementation in these regions, the rollout will expand to other major cities, including Mumbai, Bangalore, Pune, and Chennai.
To meet the growing demand for e-commerce deliveries, ZEVO will allocate a substantial portion of the fleet to ensure timely shipments of consumer goods. Simultaneously, an equal number of units will be dedicated to grocery delivery services, balancing these two vital sectors.
