Tata Motors, the leading manufacturer of commercial vehicles in India, has recently unveiled the new Ace EV 1000, which boasts an enhanced payload capacity of 1 tonne and a verified range of 161 kilometres on a single charge.

This electric vehicle is outfitted with a cutting-edge battery management system, the Fleet Edge telematics system, and sturdy components to guarantee unmatched uptime, as highlighted in the press release. The Ace EV capitalizes on the strengths of the Tata UniEVerse by engaging in collaborations with pertinent Tata Group companies and partnering with the nation’s leading financiers to provide customers with a comprehensive e-cargo mobility solution. It will be offered with various cargo deck options and will be available for purchase at Tata Motors commercial vehicle dealerships throughout India.

Vinay Pathak, Vice President and Business Head of Small Commercial Vehicles and Pick-ups at Tata Motors Commercial Vehicles, remarked that customers of the Ace EV have had a highly satisfactory and beneficial experience over the past two years. He noted that with the launch of the Ace EV 1000, Tata Motors is broadening its exceptional services to clients who require more efficient operational solutions in various sectors.

The Ace EV is equipped with the EVOGEN powertrain, which includes a 7-year battery warranty and a 5-year comprehensive maintenance package. The vehicle features a 27kW (36 horsepower) motor delivering 130Nm of peak torque, ensuring top-tier pickup and grade-ability that facilitates smooth ascents under full load conditions.
