Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan Deemed to be University (SOA) inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mysuru-based Kaynes SemiCon Private Limited (KTIL), marking a collaborative effort in offering specialized courses and certificate programs in semiconductor-related fields. KTIL, established with the objective of establishing Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing (OSAT) units in India, has partnered with Perceptive Solutions to establish Centers of Excellence (COE) in semiconductor manufacturing.
With a history spanning over three decades, Perceptive Solutions specializes in conceptual design, process engineering, integrated manufacturing, and life cycle support across various sectors including automotive, aerospace, defense, medical, railways, Internet of Things (IoT), and information technology. The company operates eight advanced manufacturing facilities throughout India and boasts major semiconductor companies among its clientele.
The collaboration aims to address the growing demand for specialized training programs in semiconductor-related fields. Recognizing the need for short-term training programs to enhance skills and adapt to new technologies, both parties have committed to leveraging the expertise of experienced professionals from the semiconductor industry.
The MoU signing ceremony was attended by SOA Vice-Chancellor Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda and Chief Executive Officer of Kaynes Semicon Private Limited Mr. Raghu Panicker, along with Ms. K. Bhanupriya, Managing Director of Perceptive Solutions.
The event saw the participation of SOA’s Prof. Manjula Das, Controller of Examination, Prof. Manas Kumar Mallick, Director of Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), Prof. D.N. Thattoi, Additional Dean (Academic), Prof. Renu Sharma, Additional Dean (Student Affairs), ITER, heads of departments, senior professors, and Dr. Satish Samal, Assistant Professor.
