Quantum Energy, an electric two-wheeler manufacturer, has declared its intention to lower the prices of its electric scooters by Rs 10,000.
In response to the government’s move to slash the incentive for electric vehicles from Rs 10,000 per kWh to Rs 5,000 per kWh, Quantum Energy, a key player in the electric two-wheeler market, has declared its intention to lower the price tags on its electric scooters by Rs 10,000. Additionally, the company is set to provide a comprehensive incentive package totalling Rs 75,000 to customers making new bike purchases. This offer, which is valid until the month’s end, includes various benefits stemming from collaborations with several well-known brands.
Quantum Energy is currently promoting a 10% reduction in the prices of its electric scooters, effectively bringing the costs down to Rs 1,09,000 from Rs 1,19,525 and to Rs 89,000 from Rs 99,757, as listed prices, respectively.
Beyond the straightforward discount of Rs 10,000 on each vehicle, Quantum aims to enhance the customer’s purchasing experience by integrating exclusive offers and vouchers from prominent entities such as Myntra, Pizza Hut, Paytm, The Man Company, among others. This strategy is designed to augment the overall value delivered to consumers.
The cessation of the FAME II Subsidy as of March 31, followed by the initiation of the EMPS 2024 interim scheme, has prompted several electric two-wheeler manufacturers to consider price increases. Against this backdrop, Chakravarthi C, the Managing Director of Quantum Energy Limited, expressed the company’s commitment to maintaining competitive pricing that aligns with consumer expectations by extending its promotional offerings.
Quantum is also engaging its customers with advantageous financing solutions, boasting the lowest interest rates compared to conventional petrol-driven vehicles, thereby presenting a mutually beneficial arrangement.
Highlighting its product lineup, Quantum’s Plasma X model features a 1500W motor paired with a 60V 50Ah lithium-ion battery. This configuration enables the scooter to sprint from 0 to 40 km/h in merely 7.5 seconds, achieving a maximum velocity of 65 km/hr and an impressive range of 120 km on a full charge.
Moreover, the Plasma XR variant from Quantum, equipped with a similar 1500W motor, is capable of hitting a peak speed of 60 km/hr and offers a range of 100 km on a single charge.
