Dell Technologies and Intel Corporation have announced the successful launch of the AI Skills Lab at the Thakur Institute of Management Studies, Career Development & Research college in Mumbai.
The inauguration ceremony took place on February 9, 2024, and was officiated by Akash Kamal, Client Solution Group – Product Technologist at Dell Technologies, in the presence of Dr. Vinita Gaikwad, Director of the Thakur Institute of Management Studies, Development & Research.
The AI Skills Lab aims to empower students by providing them with the opportunity to explore and master various aspects of artificial intelligence, including Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing (NLP), OpenVINO, and Neural Compute Stick 2 (NCS2). This initiative is part of a broader effort to bridge the digital skills gap and cultivate industry-ready talent for the future workforce.
The event was attended by notable figures such as Santhosh Viswanathan, Shweta Khurana, Govind Agarwala, Saloni Singhal, Prajakta Raut, Roopa Vispi, Arpita Agrawal, Vikrant Aloni, and Akash Kamal from the Ministry of Education and the Thakur Institute of Management Studies and Research.
