Servotech And Adani TotalEnergies Boost India’s EV Network

This collaboration aims to significantly enhance the nation’s EV charging infrastructure, aligning with India’s decarbonisation goals for 2030 and marking a pivotal moment in the journey towards sustainable, decarbonised transportation.

Servotech Power Systems Ltd. announced its collaboration with Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Ltd. (ATEL) to enhance India’s EV charging infrastructure. This partnership involves Servotech Power Systems taking on the responsibility of manufacturing, supplying, and installing AC EV chargers at various strategic locations, including airports. This initiative marks a crucial step towards broadening the reach of EV charging solutions, a pivotal element in promoting decarbonized transportation across the nation. The project, which aims to bolster India’s efforts to achieve its decarbonization targets by 2030, is set to unfold in stages, with the commencement of the first phase of EV charger distribution already underway. The collaboration underscores a shared commitment towards environmental sustainability and the acceleration of EV adoption by creating a comprehensive and efficient charging network.

The company is poised to make a substantial impact through this contract, aligning with the ambitious vision of Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group. The conglomerate aims to establish 75,000 EV charging stations by 2030, significantly contributing to developing a reliable EV charging ecosystem. This partnership showcases Servotech’s capability to deliver advanced charging solutions and positions the company as a key player in driving the expansion of India’s EV infrastructure. The agreement is designed to facilitate the creation of user-friendly e-mobility hubs that aim to streamline payment processes, increase charger availability, and improve the overall user experience for EV owners. This initiative aims to ensure that the growing network of EV charging stations is accessible, reinforcing the move towards sustainable and convenient electric mobility in India.

Sarika Bhatia, Director of Servotech Power Systems, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, highlighting its significance in advancing India’s e-mobility landscape. “Our partnership with Adani Total Energies signifies our combined efforts to lead India’s transition to electric mobility, establishing a nationwide corridor for EV charging,” Bhatia stated. She emphasized the company’s dedication to enhancing the EV charging framework in support of esteemed entities like the Adani Group. The alliance reflects a unified vision of achieving nationwide reach, technological innovation, and a sustainable impact on the environment.
