At the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit, Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd., a leading electric vehicle (EV) producer in India, presented an impressive lineup underlining its dedication to the EV industry’s growth. The company, known for its “Joy e-bike” electric two-wheelers and “Joy e-rik” electric commercial vehicles, introduced six concept models, offering a preview of future eco-friendly transport solutions.
Included in the showcase were two high-speed electric scooters, emphasizing Wardwizard’s role in the electric two-wheeler market. The firm is also exploring the commercial EV space with concept designs of a six-seater Golf Cart, a Garbage Vehicle, an E-Cart, and an E-Loader Vehicle.
Advancing further, Wardwizard revealed pioneering hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyzer technologies. A standout was the prototype of a Hydrogen-based Fuel Cell Powered Scooter, marking an innovative step in alternative cell chemistry. This exhibit underlines Wardwizard’s dedication to innovation and its focus on utilizing hydrogen technology to revolutionize clean and efficient mobility in India and worldwide.
While the Hydrogen-based fuel cell is still under development, it signifies a major stride in addressing future user needs. Once matured, this technology is anticipated to be applied in diverse segments, including utility vehicles. Wardwizard’s collaboration with Triton EV highlights their joint commitment to innovate in the EV industry.
Yatin Gupte, Chairman and Managing Director of Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Ltd, at the Summit, expressed gratitude to the Government of Gujarat for the opportunity to share their vision for sustainable mobility, thereby fortifying India’s global leadership in this field. He emphasized Joy e-bike’s dedication to providing accessible electric mobility solutions, predicting EVs will soon be a necessity. Gupte highlighted the firm’s strength in innovation and its belief in the revolutionary potential of these concept EVs to meet customer demands and provide a superior experience. He also shared his excitement about introducing hydrogen-based fuel cell technology, showcasing the company’s R&D strength and commitment to sustainability.
Additionally, Wardwizard’s recent alliance with A&S Power is set to advance Next-Generation Li-ion cell technology and the production of GAJA Cells. These innovations will be displayed at the summit.
The company’s significant investments, as per the INR 2000 crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat, encompass R&D for electric two and three-wheelers, setting up a motor assembly facility in Vadodara, Li-ion cell manufacturing, and developing ancillaries for raw material production. This strategic move is expected to generate over 5,000 jobs in the state, significantly impacting the electric mobility sector and the regional employment landscape.
