Together, NVIDIA and Amdocs are exploring various generative AI use cases to streamline and improve operations.
Amdocs and NVIDIA have announced a partnership to enhance large language models (LLMs) to promote the adoption of generative AI applications and services in the telecommunications and media industries, a market valued at approximately $1.7 trillion.
As part of the Amdocs amAIz framework, the collaboration will focus on customizing enterprise-grade LLMs using NVIDIA’s accelerated computing. This joint effort aims to enable communication service providers to effectively implement generative AI use cases in various aspects of their operations, including customer experience and network provisioning.
Amdocs will leverage NVIDIA DGX Cloud AI supercomputing and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software to facilitate flexible adoption strategies. This approach is designed to ensure that service providers can easily and securely utilize generative AI applications.
This initiative is in line with Amdocs’ strategy to advance generative AI use cases throughout the industry and builds upon the existing Amdocs-Microsoft partnership. The goal is to allow service providers and media companies to adopt these applications in secure and trusted environments, whether on-premises or in the cloud.
The partnership introduces new capabilities, such as the NVIDIA NeMo framework for custom LLM development and guardrail features. These innovations will enable service providers to benefit from improved performance, optimized resource utilization, and scalable solutions to meet current and future demands.
Amdocs has a significant customer base, with over 350 leading telecom and media companies, including 27 of the top 30 service providers. Their platforms impact over 3 billion people worldwide, facilitating more than 1.7 billion digital journeys daily.
Together, NVIDIA and Amdocs are exploring various generative AI use cases to streamline and improve operations. These include enhancing customer care by speeding up resolution of customer inquiries using company-wide data. In network operations, the focus is on generating proactive solutions for configuration, coverage, or performance issues as they arise.
Amdoc develops software and provides services tailored for entities in the communications, media, financial services sectors, and digital enterprises. This specialization encompasses a broad range of solutions designed to meet the unique needs and challenges of these industries.
