Kaynes Technology has recently announced its Outsourced Semiconductor Assembly and Testing (OSAT) and compound semiconductor manufacturing facility in Telangana worth Rs.2,800 crore, which would generate employment to 2000 jobs.
Sharing details, the Industries Minister KT Rama Rao tweeted, “Proud moment for Telangana as we join the league of coveted global destinations that host the semiconductor industry. Recent investments from global leaders such as Foxconn and Corning have reinforced Telangana as the preferred destination for electronics manufacturing”
A spokesperson linked to the project mentioned that the forthcoming facility will be established in Kongara Kalan, alongside Foxconn and Corning units. Covering an area of 40 acres, Kaynes is displaying a highly proactive approach in its execution. The official predicted that the unit will kickstart its operations within a span of 12 to 18 months, given their rapid progress.
