AT&S India Recognized For Environmental Excellence And PCB Manufacturing Prowess

AT&S India, a subsidiary of the Euro 1.8 Billion giant AT&S AG, Austria, and a forerunner in electronic solutions for Artificial intelligence( AI), Internet of Things ( IoT), Machine Learning, and other modern applications, has been lauded at the prestigious 48th ELCINA National Awards. The company bagged awards in four categories, highlighting its dominance in the electronic solutions space in India.

The awards included two first prizes recognizing the company’s commitment to environmental protection, sustainable development, and excellence in high-end Printec circuit boards ( PCB) manufacturing. The Nanjangud operations of AT&S India further won national accolades for its exemplary quality and export achievements. A standout feature of the facility is its wastewater recycling plant. This, combined with their adherence to international and national environmental standards like the EU’s RoHS and REACH, and India’s E-Waste Management rules, underscores their sustainable practices, leading to their award for environmental protection.

The recognition for PCB manufacturing excellence is attributed to the company’s significant strides in boosting manufacturing output, investing in technology upgrades, and enhancing production capacity locally. An esteemed panel, comprising industry and governmental experts, selected AT&S for this accolade.

ELCINA, Electronic Industries Association of India, established in 1967, has long been a significant player in backing India’s electronics hardware sector. Their awards hold immense weightage at a national level, amplifying AT&S India’s achievement. Furthermore, The company, operating from its eco-friendly unit, plays a vital role in the global electronics solutions supply chain, with connections spanning from the US to Asia-Pacific.

Santosh Gundapi, Senior Director – Operations of AT&S India, was the recipient of the award in a grand event held in New Delhi, accompanied by his team, Charan H V, Ravi A, Vidya Sagar A, and K Manjunatha, each instrumental in the company’s award-winning journey.
