With an expected EPA range of 300 miles, quick DC charging, and a contemporary design, it’s made for city and off-road driving. It preserves the unique Honda driving feel, aesthetic, and spacious interior. Pre-orders will commence later this year, and the first deliveries are scheduled for early 2024. Nationwide availability is anticipated with a starting price in the high USD 40,000s before incentives.
Lance Woelfer, a top official at American Honda Motor Co., highlighted the debut of the Prologue as a turning point for Honda’s zero-emission ambitions. He characterized it as stylish, athletic, and roomy, aligning with Honda’s 2040 all-electric vision. The SUV is based on a state-of-the-art electric framework, with options for both FWD and AWD in three trims: EX, Touring, and Elite.
Key features include Google digital services, wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an extensive set of safety features. Its design, conceptualized with VR tools, promotes aerodynamics, silence, and a stylish appearance. Internally, it emphasizes comfort with a roomy design, innovative storage, and accommodation for five.
The Prologue also boasts advanced tech integrations like built-in Google, high-definition screens, and sophisticated audio systems. Over-the-air updates will be available. Its dynamic driving experience is supported by various powertrain choices, quick charging, active sound control, and a sport mode.
Honda provides various charging solutions, including home stations and public charging credits. They’re also collaborating to establish a high-speed charging infrastructure. The updated HondaLink® Smartphone App will further enhance the charging experience for Prologue owners.
