Volvo’s second EV model in India is assembled at the Hosakote, Bengaluru, Karnataka facility equipped with an 11 kW charger.
Volvo Car India has unveiled its exclusively electric C40 Recharge at a starting price of INR 61.25 lakh plus applicable taxes. This vehicle, equipped with an 11 kW charger, marks the company’s second electric model to be assembled at its Hosakote facility in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The company is advancing their mission to introduce a new electric model to the Indian market annually with the debut of the C40 Recharge, Volvo’s inaugural electric vehicle. Jyoti Malhotra, the Managing Director at Volvo Car India, feels the vehicle embodies a blend of modern style and impressive features, setting it apart as a distinctly full-electric automobile. Demonstrating Volvo’s commitment to responsible and fashionable design, it meets high safety standards, evidenced by a five-star rating from Euro NCAP, all while promoting sustainable mobility solutions.
Volvo assures a seamless ownership experience, offering a comprehensive 3-year car warranty, 3-year Volvo service, and 3-year roadside assistance. This package also includes an 8-year battery warranty, a 5-year digital services subscription, and the installation of an 11 kW wall box charger via a third-party provider, as detailed in a recent press release.
In addition, the company revealed the extension of the exclusive “Tre Kronor Experience” programme, previously available for XC40 Recharge patrons, to C40 Recharge customers. This programme, embodying the epitome of Swedish luxury represented by the three crowns, promises a series of luxurious and tailored experiences, the statement highlighted.
