Ola has directed their employees that all shops will not be functioning from 24th August to 28th August, and the production work will start back from 29th August for all three shifts.
Ola Electric has temporarily stopped production at its Futurefactory in Tamil Nadu. This decision was taken to upgrade the facility and equipment to increase the capacity. The company has circulated a note to all its employees informing the same. According to the shared circular by Ola to their employees, teams like HR and Security will be operational during this production halt.
Previously, Ola halted production on 21st July 2022 for the installation of new machines and maintenance. This news comes a few days after the launch of Ola Electric’s new scooter, S1 X and the announcement of the 4 new bikes they plan to launch in 2024.
The company has recently started delivering the new S1 Air which Ola claims to have over 50,000 bookings till now.
